Arsenal winger Willian has been slammed for walking with the ball by Martin Keown on BT Sport.
Willian started for Arsenal last night, as he was afforded yet another opportunity.
However, the Brazilian failed to impress in Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague.
Willian was actually off the pitch when both goals went in.
And he failed to offer much in the way of creativity or energy.
Willian’s most promising moment was when he hit a free-kick from just outside the box, but the ball hit the post and bounced clear.
And Keown said: “That was the best we saw of Willian. I just feel at times when he gets the ball he is slowing Arsenal down too much, he’s walking with the ball. It’s okay to go slow, but then quick! There’s no change of pace.
“I’m not seeing enough from the player. It’s simple. There was an opportunity for him today and it’s frustrating because we know it’s under the bonnet, we are just not seeing enough from him on the pitch.”

Willian’s poor display just increases the calls for Gabriel Martinelli to start ahead of him.
The Arsenal youngster has been continuously overlooked, but surely he cannot be left on the bench for too much longer.
Further questions, meanwhile, will continue to be asked of Willian – who has offered Arsenal very little ever since he arrived from Chelsea on a free transfer in the summer.
