West Bromwich Albion are reportedly hoping to appoint Slavisa Jokanovic as their new manager.

It has been reported by BBC Sport that West Brom are planning to hold further talks with Slavisa Jokanovic as they look for Darren Moore’s successor after parting company with their former defender at the weekend.
Jokanovic would be an exciting appointment for the Baggies, who have taken one point from their last three games and appear to have very little chance of securing automatic-promotion.
The 50-year-old took Watford and Fulham to the Premier League, so there are few available candidates who boast a better track record. And appointing Jokanovic could be exactly what one player within the West Brom squad in particular needs.
The January deadline day loan deal to sign Stefan Johansen seemed to get somewhat overlooked, with the likes of Jacob Murphy and Jefferson Montero also moving to the Hawthorns in the final hours of the window.

Having scored 19 goals and provided 17 assists across the last two seasons in the Championship, it appeared to be a real coup for the Baggies to sign Johansen from Fulham. However, he has not enjoyed the best start.
But given that it was Jokanovic who got the best out of him during his time at Craven Cottage, perhaps an appointment could be the catalyst that leads to West Brom fans seeing exactly why the Norwegian was so influential during Fulham’s promotion charge.
And given how impressive he was over the past two seasons, it could be a frightening prospect for the rest of West Brom’s promotion rivals if Jokanovic does come in and manages to get the best out of Johansen once again before the campaign concludes.
