Could West Ham United sign a striker in the January transfer window?
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has suggested on the club’s official website that he is thinking of the January transfer window already.
Bilic made the revelation in response to a question about signing a striker in January.
“To be fair, we are thinking about the transfer window a bit but we are totally focused on a very busy period we have in front of us starting with tomorrow’s game,” the West Ham manager told the club’s official website when asked if Diafra Sakho, who will be out for six weeks, is someone he needs to replace in January.
“It’s a big blow for us and we know what he can give us and what he did in those couple of games. But he will be back.”

West Ham are struggling for goals, and they do need a striker to be fully fit and firing.
The Hammers have to look at adding to their strike-force and sign a striker in the January transfer window.
The problem is that there will not be not too many top-quality strikers available in January.
No club would be willing to part company with their frontman next month, although if West Ham cough up a lot of money, then they could attract a decent player in that position.

West Ham are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from 13 matches.
The Hammers are just a point above the relegation zone and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship.
Bilic’s side will take on London rivals Arsenal at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
