Former West Ham and Croatia boss Slaven Bilic is reportedly interesting in becoming the next Celtic manager.

The report states that Bilic has been linked with the Scotland job but he prefers to manage a club over an international side.
Neil Lennon has done a decent job with the Hoops since Brendan Rodgers’ departure to Leicester City back in February. The current Celtic boss has already secured the league title and is in the hunt to secure a domestic treble when the Hoops take on Hearts in the final of the Scottish Cup.
However, his future remains unclear and Slaven Bilic would be a fantastic replacement in the summer. The Croatian has been out of a job since parting ways with Saudi side Al-Ittihad in February but his appointment as Hoops boss makes a lot of sense.
Bilic had an outstanding first season with West Ham a few years ago where he led the Londoners to a 7th place finish in the league. His tactics were spot on for the Hammers especially against the bigger teams which helped them pick up away victories against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Croatian’s sacking in the following campaign should have no bearing over his qualities as a manager and he would work wonders at Celtic. The Hoops are undoubtedly the best side in Scotland and despite Rangers closing the gap over the last few games, they are still far ahead of their fierce rivals.
A manager like Bilic worked his magic with an average West Ham side in the Premier League but with the best team in the land at his disposal, he is sure to get Celtic their much anticipated 9th consecutive league title next season. Celtic should have no second thoughts over appointing Slaven Bilic as their manager for next season.
