West Ham United failed to score in a friendly match against Sturm Graz yesterday.
Slaven Bilic has admitted to West Ham United’s official website that his side are not scoring enough goals in training at the moment.
West Ham drew 0-0 with Sturm Graz yesterday, as they built up their fitness ahead of the new campaign.
And Bilic admits that his side’s lack of a ruthless streak is becoming apparent, even in training.
“It was a competitive game – Sturm Graz were a very lively team and they can play football. Of course they are at a different level, and we should have scored maybe five or six goals,” Bilic said.

“But, to be fair, we are not scoring enough goals in training at the moment, so it was the same in the game, but running-wise it was a good session for us.
“It was a good opponent for this stage but if we are looking strictly at the game, we have to score goals.”
West Ham are known to be looking to upgrade their striking options this summer, with new faces expected to arrive in time for the new season.
Bilic has made signing a striker one of his top priorities in the transfer market, as his forwards all proved to be unreliable last term.
West Ham have only completed one other signing so far this summer, with Pablo Zabaleta arriving on a free transfer.
West Ham’s season begins in August, with a match against Manchester United.
