West Ham United are set to face Accrington Stanley in the EFL Cup tonight.

Slaven Bilic has suggested on West Ham United’s official website that both Alvaro Arbeloa and Edimilson Fernandes could come into his starting line-up tonight in the EFL Cup.
West Ham are due to face League Two side Accrington Stanley this evening, and they will be desperate to avoid an upset.
The Hammers have won just one Premier League match all season, with the pressure on them to pick up a result.
However, manager Slaven Bilic has hinted that he will still make changes to his side for the contest – with both Arbeloa and Fernandes likely to come in.

“In terms of the team news for tonight’s game Arbeloa and Fernandes are ready to go and they have been training,” he said.
“Arbeloa’s last game was last season against Real Madrid and Fernandes played for Sion and for the Swiss Under 21’s ten days ago.

“We have that issue with a few players, but some of the players will get a chance because we want to see them. They have been training hard and we want to see them. It is a risk for the result, but I want to see them and I have full confidence in them.”
Arbeloa and Fernandes were both brought in by West Ham during the summer transfer window, but they have not had an opportunity to impress yet.
The pair have been left on the sidelines, as Bilic has attempted to improve their fitness levels.
If Bilic does rotate his side, the likes of Ashley Fletcher and Antonio Martinez will also be hoping for a chance in West Ham’s side.
