West Ham United have made a very disappointing start to the new season, and currently sit in 17th place in the Premier League table.

Slaven Bilic has told ITV that he wants to add one or two players to West Ham United’s squad in the January transfer window.
West Ham have made an awful start to their season, and currently sit in 17th place in the Premier League table.
However, Bilic insists that making wholesale changes to his squad in January is not necessary.
“We have some players who were absent for a long time,” he said. “Now they are coming back and they are going be our new signings so we are not thinking about the transfer window solving all our problems.
“Of course every club will look at one or two players, but not on that scale. The transfer window is far away, we are talking about football, I am completely concentrated on the players we have, and the players who will come back.”
If West Ham do make additions in January, they will be hoping that they make a quicker impact than their summer signings.
The likes of Gokhan Tore, Havard Nordtveit, Jonathan Calleri and Simone Zaza were all brought to West Ham last summer, but the quartet have had a minimal impact so far.

The Hammers have really struggled to reach the standards that they set last season, and are currently looking nervously over their shoulders.
West Ham could slip into the relegation zone this weekend, if they are beaten by Tottenham Hotspur and other results go against them.
