West Ham take on Chelsea in the EFL Cup on Wednesday.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has urged the Hammers fans to get behind their side against Chelsea on Wednesday, as quoted by Sky Sports.
The Hammers have won their last two Premier League games, beating Crystal Palace and Sunderland 1-0 to bring some confidence back to Bilic’s side.

On Wednesday, West Ham turn their attention to the EFL Cup, where they will be taking on London rivals Chelsea at the London Stadium.
Last time out in this competition, West Ham had to rely on a last minute Dimitri Payet free kick to beat League Two side Accrington Stanley 1-0, and will have to perform much better against Chelsea to stand a chance of getting through to the last eight.
West Ham are still settling into their new home of the London Stadium, with some disturbances among home supporters – particularly in the 4-2 defeat to Watford – marring the start to the season.

Tensions are bound to be running high when West Ham take on London rivals Chelsea, and it’s claimed that the Hammers have brought in extra policing measures for the encounter.
With West Ham looking to get a feel-good factor going at the London Stadium, Bilic has today been asked for a message for the Hammers supporters.
As quoted by Sky Sports, Bilic suggested that he is fed up of answering questions about the ‘problems’ among supporters at the new stadium, but urged fans to get behind the team against Chelsea.

“It’s a cup game, a derby against Chelsea, so yes it’s a big game, a big occasion,” said Bilic. “The message to the fans is just to get behind us, because we are feeling them in every game and we want them to be our 12th player.”
“Hopefully, the problems are gone. I’m getting fed up with answering those questions week in, week out. All we can do is try to play good football and win games. That also helps the atmosphere. It’s all we can do,” he added.
