West Ham United were 1-0 winners over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has told Sky Sports that the win over Crystal Palace does not change anything at the club.

The Hammers traveled to Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon with just one win in the Premier League to their name.

They managed to pick up their second in the game as a goal from Manuel Lanzini handed them a much-needed victory.

It was a big three points for the Hammers who moved out of the relegation zone and into 15th place with the win.

Bilic was naturally delighted with the result but says it does not mean his team are suddenly out of the water.

“If we think for one second that now we are okay and we are going to win points or games just because we turn up, and just because we won. No,” he told Sky Sports.

“There is no yesterday in football. But this has to be a pattern for us in a positive way, what we have to do, only to come into a position to win football games in the Premier League. If you’re not like this then you don’t have a chance.”

It remains to be seen if West Ham can build on this performance and start picking up more points in the weeks to come.

It was much-needed, to say the least, with their start to the season threatening to turn into a full-blown disaster.

As Bilic warns, though, it does not mean things have suddenly turned around and they are still just a point from the relegation zone.

Next weekend sees West Ham taking on bottom of the table Sunderland and they must ensure they are at the same level as against Palace to make it back-to-back wins.
