The Hammers are currently in the bottom three of the table.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic says it is easy for them to fix their issues, but it will take hard work to do so, in an interview with the club’s official website.
The Hammers have had a disastrous start to the season, picking up just three points from their first five games.
They are currently sitting in the bottom three as a result and have lost their last two games 4-2 to Watford and West Bromwich Albion respectively.
Their defence has been a major issue, with them conceding 13 goals to date, the second most of any team in the division.

A return to how they played last season is needed but Bilic has warned it will not be easy to get there.
“For me, last year was exactly what I meant with how we wanted to play,” he told the club’s official website.
“At the moment, we are not doing that. You have to act before the opponent, it’s not complicated to detect the problem, but it takes effort to solve it – although it’s very simple.”

Luckily for West Ham, they have a series of games upcoming that they will view as very winnable.
Aside from Crystal Palace, who sit eighth in the table, three of the other teams they face are in the bottom half of the table at present.
That presents a good opportunity to start picking up the points they need, starting with their game against Southampton at the London Stadium this weekend.
