West Ham United are expected to add to their team during the summer transfer window.

Slaven Bilic has refused to answer questions over whether West Ham United are interested in St. Etienne defender Kevin Malcuit at his press conference earlier today, which was broadcast on the Hammers’ official Facebook page.
According to TalkSPORT, West Ham have an interest in signing Malcuit in the summer, with Bilic on the lookout for defensive additions.
And when asked whether the rumours are true, Bilic insisted that he didn’t want to talk about transfers at this stage of the season.
“We are not, not because of the names, it’s not because I don’t want to discuss the names, but we don’t even have one eye on it [the transfer window],” the Croatian boss said.
“Of course, we are preparing. We’ve been preparing in December of for the new season, and one part of that is looking at long future plans. But we are fully concentrated on Bournemouth and the remainder of this season.”
West Ham are expected to be highly active in the summer transfer window, as they look to build on their current squad.
The Hammers have enjoyed a season of mixed success so far this campaign.
West Ham started the season terribly, and although they have recovered over recent months – they only look set to finish in mid-table.
Part of the reason why Bilic’s side have struggled at times this season has been because of their lack of defensive options, meaning the London side are expected to sign new defenders ahead of next campaign.
West Ham are currently in 11th place in the Premier League standings.
