West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has suggested that his side’s summer business may have come to an end.
Slaven Bilic has told West Ham United’s official website that he does not expect any more ‘exciting’ signings at the London Stadium, as long as everything goes to plan between now and the end of the window.
West Ham have been widely credited for the business that they have done so far during the transfer window, with four new players arriving.
The Hammers have snapped up Joe Hart, Marko Arnautovic, Pablo Zabaleta and Javier Hernandez, to leave their squad looking much stronger.
But Bilic has suggested that West Ham’s spending may well have come to an end now.

“You’ve got to be ready for all situations and be able to predict them if and when they happen, because it’s better if you’re ready,” Bilic said.
“I don’t expect any more ‘exciting’ signings because you don’t want to be overbooked in certain positions. You have to respect your players and those who are number two, because you don’t want them to be number three in their position.
“You only need them in case you have many, many injuries, but of course you can’t think like that. If something extraordinary happens, and it can happen because we’ve done really well without spending crazy money.
“I presume if something extraordinary happens in the market, then hopefully we’re still going to be able to do it, if necessary.”
West Ham’s focus will now be on keeping their current squad together, as some of their key stars have been linked with moves away.
