West Ham have made a poor start to the new Premier League season with just two wins from their opening eight matches leaving them 15th in the table.

Slaven Bilic is a man under pressure as the Hammers suffer a hangover from a disappointing season last term in terms of performances.

Fans want to see more attacking style and threat from their side and many have called for change with the likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Rafa Benitez and Roberto Mancini linked.

Slaven Bilic, Manager of West Ham United looks on prior to the Premier League match between West Ham United and Swansea City at London Stadium on September 30, 2017 in London, England.

Defender Winston Reid has already billed the match against the Seagulls as a “must win” for West Ham, who could leapfrog Chris Hughton’s side and go up to mid table with all three points.

Bilic has more or less a fully fit squad to choose from for the game at the London Stadium but must make two crucial changes to the side which drew 1-1 with Burnley last time out.

Andy Carroll’s sending off in that game for two yellow cards rules him out.

That should see Diafra Sakho come in to partner Javier Hernandez up front – a strike partnership supporters have been desperate to see.

The Hammers have looked vulnerable at the back all season, particular from crosses and once again conceded after a ball in from wide at Burnley.

So Bilic’s second change should be to introduce Angelo Ogbonna back into the side in place of the ageing Jose Fonte to partner Reid at the heart of the defence.

Unconfirmed reports have emerged that Chicharito may miss the game with a hamstring injury in which case Bilic would likely make a third change and bring Pedro Obiang back into the side to allow Manuel Lanzini licence to get forward more.
