West Ham United finished 11th in the Premier League last season.

Speaking to the club’s official website, West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has promised fans that better days lie ahead following a poor 2016-17 campaign.
The Hammers finished 11th in the Premier League last term in what was their first season at the London Stadium.
West Ham enjoyed a fine 2015-16 campaign under the former Croatia boss, qualifying for the Europa League preliminary stages following a seventh-placed finish.

Consequently, fans of the London club will have been disappointed by their performances last season, but the 48-year-old has vowed to bring about a positive change that the club’s “tremendous” support deserve.
“They’ve been unbelievable and I would love to say a big ‘thank you’ to them,” Bilic said to the club’s official website.
“It’s amazing how they treated me and I could feel they were really behind me and the whole team.

“They are tremendous fans and I can only promise them that I’m going to give my best and the team is going to do its best to do better next season and to give them more enjoyable games and moments because they definitely deserve it.”
Dimitri Payet, an integral part of United’s stellar 2015-16 campaign, joined Marseille for a reported £25 million this past January following what was a lukewarm first half of his second season, netting twice in 17 Premier League starts.
It was a tough maiden season at the London Stadium for Bilic and co, but there is every chance that the ex-Besiktas coach, with a handful of decent signings, could restore an element of fear about facing the Irons next term.
