Andre Ayew has made just one appearance for West Ham United to date.

Slaven Bilic has told West Ham United’s official website that Andre Ayew is unlikely to be involved against Sunderland.
Ayew has made it off the treatment table and back into training this week, and he has impressed.
However, Bilic is keen to take no risks with the Ghanian international – and the Croatian boss has suggested that the 26-year-old will be left on the sidelines for the time being.
“He looks good, and okay it was only a few sessions, but we are going to try and prepare him for games as quick as possible,” Bilic said. “But we don’t want something to happen in that process at the same time.

“It’s great that he is back. It’s difficult to judge when he’ll be back on the pitch. He’s improving in every session. He was out for a long time and as I said, we want him back, but is he ready for games at the moment? Probably not. He needs more time and intensity in training.
“I’m sure that it won’t be a long, long time now. He probably won’t be in Saturday’s squad.”
Ayew has made just one appearance for West Ham so far this term, following his move to the London Stadium last summer.

The attacker was expected to have an important role to play for Bilic’s side, but his injury has curtailed his progress.
West Ham have missed Ayew, in his absence, and they have started the season in poor form.
The Hammers are currently in 14th place in the Premier League table, after winning just two games so far this season.
With Ayew still sidelined, it seems likely that Simone Zaza will lead West Ham’s line against Sunderland at the weekend.
