The West Ham United boss was unhappy with he manner in which his side conceded the first goal last night.

The Hammers were ruthlessly picked apart by Chelsea at the London Stadium last night, and Slaven Bilic criticised the role played by Mark Noble in the visitors opening goal, when speaking to reporters during his post-match press conference, and quoted via the club’s official website.
The 2-1 scoreline ended up flattering West Ham, who got the ball in good areas, but never really threatened Thibaut Courtois’ goal before Manuel Lanzini scored in injury time.
The East London outfit actually began the game full of confidence, with plenty of attacking threat, but it was from a dangerous position, from their perspective, from which the Blues opened the scoring.
And Bilic lamented the fact that his side dithered on the ball, rather than whipping it into the box, when speaking to the media, and quoted via WHUFC.com:

“The first was a set piece for us and we had enough players back. We had a chance to put in the second ball in a good position but we didn’t, Mark wanted to play with the best intentions, but you expect your players to run back with more reason in this situation.”
West Ham remain in 11th spot in the table after their defeat to Antonio Conte’s men, and will be looking to bounce back straight away with a win when they make the trip to Bournemouth on Saturday.
With Andy Carroll and Andre Ayew both back fit, however, and Michail Antonio set to return from suspension, they will be confident in their ability of doing just that.
