West Ham United are due to face Accrington Stanley in the EFL Cup this evening.

Slaven Bilic has told West Ham United’s official website that he intends to make changes to his side, ahead of their EFL Cup match against Accrington Stanley tomorrow night.

West Ham go into the match as the heavy favourites to win, but Slaven Bilic’s side will have to guard against complacency.

The Hammers cannot afford to slip up, after making a terrible start to their Premier League campaign.

And Bilic has suggested that a number of their first-team players will be kept in the starting line-up tomorrow, alongside some more untested squad members.

“We are going to play a mixed team,” he said. “It is not that we are under-estimating the competition or the opposition, but we need some changes.

“As I said previously some of the players deserve to get a chance.”

West Ham’s Antonio Martinez is one of the development squad players who could get a chance in the League Cup fixture.

Martinez has netted seven goals in six matches for the Hammers’ under-23 side this season.

Summer signing Sofiane Feghouli could also be in line to start, as he continues his comeback from injury.
