Slaven Bilic has confirmed to Football.London that Andy Carroll will be placed back into West Ham United’s squad for their match against Tottenham Hotspur.

West Ham are set to take on Spurs tomorrow in the League Cup, and the pressure is on Bilic.

The Croatian manager’s job is now on the line, after West Ham were beaten 3-0 by Brighton & Hove Albion in their most recent Premier League match.

But Bilic still seems to be prepared to trust Carroll, despite his moment of madness against Burnley.

Carroll picked up two yellow cards at Turf Moor recently, and had to watch from the stands as his West Ham teammates struggled against Brighton, while he was suspended.

But it seems that Carroll will come straight back into West Ham’s team tomorrow, but Bilic will be without Michail Antonio.

“Andy is back in the squad. Antonio is definitely out because he has a knock on his ribs,” Bilic said.

Andy Carroll of West Ham United walks off after being sent off during the Premier League match between Burnley and West Ham United at Turf Moor on October 14, 2017 in Burnley, England.

West Ham go into the fixture as heavy outsiders against a red-hot Tottenham side.

Spurs are likely to name a much changed line-up for the contest though, which could give West Ham the opportunity to pick up a morale boosting victory.
