Slaven Bilic has denied that Asmir Begovic will be heading to West Ham this summer.

West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has told the London Evening Standard that he won’t be making a move to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic this summer.
Bilic saw his side take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Monday evening, with goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa handed the visitors a 2-1 win at the London Stadium.
Defence continues to be an issue for West Ham despite the January addition of defender Jose Fonte from Southampton, with right back an area Bilic should look to strengthen this summer.
Another area that has been mentioned as a possible area to strengthen is in goal, as whilst he has Adrian San Miguel and Darren Randolph at his disposal, some fans believe the position should be strengthened.
Adrian – whose contract expires this summer but can sign a two-year extension – started the season poorly and was subsequently replaced by Randolph, who has been steady if unspectacular so far.
One name mentioned with a possible move to West Ham is Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, who has played just six games this season – none of which have come in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old Bosnia international joined the Blues from Stoke City in the summer of 2015, but has spent the majority of his time at Stamford Bridge as backup to Thibaut Courtois.
A proven Premier League goalkeeper during his time with Stoke, Begovic would be a starter for many Premier League clubs, and West Ham have been suggested as a possible destination.

However, manager Bilic has told the London Evening Standard that he won’t be moving for Begovic or any other goalkeepers, as he is happy with Adrian and Randolph for the foreseeable future.
“We have been linked with many players in the last three transfer windows, including Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic,” said Bilic. “In those three windows, though, I have said a few times that the only position in the team I have absolutely no interest in discussing is the goalkeeping spot. I was happy — and I am still happy — with Adrian and Darren Randolph.”
“If you ask me whether they will both still be here next season, I would say yes. You can never be 100 per cent certain in football, of course, and maybe one of them will knock on the door and say he is unhappy but even if that happens, I will try to persuade them to stay at the club,” he added.
