West Ham United have started the new campaign in dire form, winning just once in the Premier League so far.

Slaven Bilic has told City AM that West Ham United’s players are too nice to each other in training.
West Ham have won just once so far this season in the Premier League, and they were abject in their most recent match against Southampton.
The Hammers slipped to a 3-0 defeat in front of their own fans, which leaves them stuck in 18th place in the top flight.
However, Bilic insists that there is no disharmony within the group, and the problem is that the players can actually be too friendly with each other.

“From what I see they are good with each other, maybe too good with each other. They are a very healthy group of players which is working hard in training,” Bilic said.
“Of course, when it’s not going so well then you can’t expect the atmosphere to be smashing and booming, but have I noticed any problems in the dressing room or training? No.”
Southampton’s dominance over West Ham yesterday was alarming, and they could have won by an even greater margin.

Bilic is now under serious pressure, and he is the bookies’ favourite to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
West Ham are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Middlesbrough at the London Stadium.
