West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho has not played since November.

Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Diafra Sakho could be named in West Ham United’s match day squad against Arsenal.

Sakho has not played for West Ham since way back in November, due to a series of injuries.

The Senegalese striker first injured his hamstring, before a troublesome back problem struck again.

Sakho has been able to play just twice for West Ham this term, but he has returned to training recently.

And Bilic says that Sakho now believes that he is ready to make his long-awaited return to the Hammers’ first-team.

Sakho’s return for West Ham will be a big boost, as Bilic’s side have struggled to find a regular goalscorer this term.

The Hammers have tried a number of different players up-front, but none of their current attacking options have been particularly prolific.

If West Ham are able to beat Arsenal tomorrow evening, they could move up to ninth in the Premier League table.
