West Ham United have been heavily linked with a move for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge in recent times.

Bilic was known to be looking for a forward last term, and Sturridge was a name on his wishlist.
“If you talk about Sturridge as a player, especially if you go back two or three seasons, he was unbelievable,” Bilic said.
“But then, he wasn’t a subject for West Ham.

“Now you can still see it when he plays. He plays very rarely but I watched Stoke against Liverpool the other day. He came on and, with a couple of passes, he broke their defence.
“So of course he is showing that when he plays, but he plays very rarely. When he is on fire, he is a great player. Is he the sort of striker we would look at? We are going to see. We have our list of strikers.”
Bilic was never able to get a deal over the line for the England international, but Moyes may have more luck.
West Ham are said to be looking to snap up Sturridge in January, as he has struggled for game time at Liverpool.

ESPN claim that Sturridge is a target for the Hammers, as they look to strengthen their forward line.
West Ham already have a number of attacking options, but they have failed to find a truly prolific scorer this term.
Sturridge has only scored three times this season for Liverpool, but his lack of regular game time has meant that he has never been able to find a rhythm.
