West Ham United beat Accrington Stanley 1-0 in the EFL Cup last night.

Slaven Bilic has admitted to Essex Live that West Ham United defender Arthur Masuaku has a problem, after he was stretchered off injured in the EFL Cup last night.
The left-back was removed from the field late on in the game against Accrington Stanley, leaving the Hammers with just ten men on the pitch.

West Ham ended up winning 1-0 against the League Two side, thanks to a Dimitri Payet free-kick, but Masuaku’s injury is a concern.
The Hammers already have Aaron Cresswell ruled out through injuries, meaning they have no other left-backs available.
And Bilic said: “It’s definitely a problem, it’s very hard to talk about the length of injuries straight after but it does not look like a major one, a worrying one.
“The first reaction is that it will be a couple of games.”
Masuaku has not had an entirely convincing start at West Ham, but his absence will be a blow.

Bilic could end up having to switch Alvaro Arbeloa to left-back, with Michail Antonio filling in on the right-hand side of defence.
West Ham’s next match comes against Southampton at the weekend, and they will be under pressure to get the three points.
