Speaking to the Daily Mail, Robert Pires has claimed that Jamie Vardy has the ability to be a success at Arsenal.
Arsenal made a move for the Leicester City striker two weeks ago, activating a £20million release clause in his contract.

It is unknown whether he will make the move though with him leaving a decision until the end of Euro 2016 this summer. Many have questioned whether he would fit in at the club given his style of play is so contrasting to the one Arsenal employ.
Pires has no doubts though, insists that the striker has the quality to be a success at the Emirates.
“There is no reason why it couldn’t work out for Vardy,” he told the Daily Mail.
“He has the ability, comes across as very hard-working which Arsenal like, and he’s a great finisher. There’s a lot more pressure with playing for a big club, so it will be a step up.”

It would certainly be interesting to see if Vardy would be a success at Arsenal should he make the move to Arsenal.
There is no denying that his success has very much been thanks to the direct style that Leicester employed in their Premier League title winning campaign.
It is that reason that makes some thing he would struggle at the Emirates, but perhaps that different style to what Arsenal currently have is exactly why Arsene Wenger wishes to sign him.
