Newcastle would have to fight Real Betis for the Tenerife striker.

Newcastle United have made an enquiry for Tenerife star Nano, according to Spanish media outlet AS.
The striker was in fine form for the Segunda Division side last year, bagging 14 goals in 22 starts.
That kind of form has naturally garnered attention, and the newspaper believes that clubs in England are interested in the 21-year-old.
One of those English clubs is said to be Newcastle, who AS claim have already made an enquiry about his services.

He would not be the first Tenerife striker the Magpies have targeted, with Ayoze Perez moving to St James’ Park from the club back in 2014.
He has proved to be a big hit in the North East and there is every chance that the Magpies are looking to replicate that success with the signing of Nano.

They face a fight for his signature though, with La Liga side Real Betis also allegedly keen on his signature this summer.
It is believed that they have scouted him quite a few times this season, and if they cannot secure Charly Musonda from Chelsea then Nano may be their preferred alternative.
