The Arsenal goalkeeper has spent the season on loan at AS Roma.

Arsenal are willing to sanction a second loan to AS Roma for Wojciech Szczesny, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The goalkeeper has spent the season on loan with the Italian side, where he has done enough to impress manager Luciano Spalletti.

They are keen to keep him at the club next season, but want to secure a second loan deal rather than a permanent switch at this stage.
Arsenal though, were more interested in selling the Polish ‘keeper meaning the two clubs were some way apart in their thinking.
Indeed, according to Gianluca di Marzio, the two clubs were thought to be meeting this week to try to thrash out a deal because of that point.

However, it now seems Arsenal have changed their standpoint somewhat and according to Gazzetta dello Sport the Gunners are now willing to sanction a second loan deal for their man.
There will be one key condition to any move though, with Arsenal only willing to conclude such a deal if Roma pay the bulk of his current wages, around £45,000-per-week.
That is something they will be surely willing to agree to, allowing a happy conclusion for Szczesny, who has been vocal in his desire to stay in Serie A.
