Monchi has been linked with moves to Everton and Manchester United.
Sevilla celebrate with the trophy after the game
Sevilla sporting director Monchi is set to stay at the club after the club refused his request to leave, reports their official website.
The sporting director has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer after their latest success in the Europa League.
Manchester United are thought to be particularly keen, with AS reporting that a deal with the Red Devils was close to completion.
Sevilla manager Unai Emery before the match
Everton were another side reportedly interested in his services, with them potentially bringing him and Unai Emery to Goodison Park.
It seems a move will not be on the cards though, with the club confirming on their official website that he will be staying after they told him to respect his current contract.

Monchi has reportedly accepted that decision, and will now turn his attention to improving the side in the summer transfer window.
Of course, this decision does not mean that an exit has been ruled out entirely as potential clubs may still come in for him this year.
They though, would have to pay a compensation fee for his services, rather than getting him on a free as they would had he been released by Sevilla.
