The Egyptian star is a relatively new face at the Emirates, having arrived at the club from Basel in the January transfer window.
He has proved himself to be an astute buy, with a series of impressive performances in thee Gunners midfield earning rave reviews.

His game has naturally taken a big step forward since swapping the Swiss Super League for the Premier League, but he insists he must keep learning as he is at the best club in the world.
“When I come here it’s as if I’m starting over,” he told Arsenal player.
“I need to learn from the people here, this is the best club in the world so you need to learn how the people here move, see things, think about things, so these are all experiences.”

It will be interesting to see what role Elneny has to play in the team next season following the arrival of Granit Xhaka.
The Gunners have paid big money to secure the Switzerland star from Borussia Monchengladbach and he is expected to slot straight into the first team picture.
With Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere also competing, and Elneny and Francis Coquelin to consider, it may be the Egyptian that finds himself sitting on the bench.
