The Bournemouth boss has been named as a potential replacement for the under fire Everton manager.
After another disappointing league campaign, the pressure is firmly on Roberto Martinez at Everton.
The Spaniard may have guided his side to the semi-finals of both the FA Cup and Capital One Cup, which they lost to both Manchester teams, but sitting in 11th place in the Premier League is not good enough for the Goodison faithful.
That is the position they finished last season in, a placing that many have agreed is far below where a team of their quality should be.
Already talk has begun about who could replace Martinez at the club, with the Sun recently claiming that Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe could be a target.
Interestingly, the two sides met on Saturday, with the Blues coming out as 2-1 winners, but how do the two managers compare elsewhere in the stats this year?

Somewhat surprisingly, the Cherries have managed more wins so far this season, having managed 11 wins compared to ten for Everton.
They also come out on top in terms of draws, with the Blues having managed a huge 14 this season but Eddie Howe’s side far behind on eight.
They though, have lost more games, 17 to 11, conceded more goals and scored few than Roberto Martinez’s side this year.
They are similarly behind in the passing stats, with Everton managing more passes per game and enjoying a slightly better overall passing accuracy.
All of that suggests Howe may not be the man Everton need to replace Martinez, although given that only three points separate the sides, perhaps it is not as wide a gap between the two managers as these stats suggest.
