The midfielder is a key man for the Czech Republic at Euro 2016.
Speaking to UEFA, Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has said that Spain should fear his former Arsenal teammate Tomas Rosicky.
Spain open their Euro 2016 campaign against the Czech Republic on Monday as they seek to successfully defend their 2012 crown.
Bellerin could feature for the champions, having been a late call up into the tournament squad following an injury to Real Madrid full-back Dani Carvajal.
Should he start, he will be coming up against familiar faces in the Czech squad, with Arsenal teammate Petr Cech and former Gunner Tomas Rosicky both starring in their opponent’s team.
And when questioned about the players that Spain should consider as danger men, Bellerin says that they should fear Rosicky.
“Tomáš is one of the most intelligent players around, but because of his injuries people underestimate him,” he told UEFA.com.
“But his intelligence, his ability to find space and his crossing definitely make him one of the players we have to fear he’s a great player who’s quick on the ball and really clever, so we know we have to be very wary of him.”
It will certainly be interesting to see how the game pans out, with the pressure very much on Spain this summer.
They were abysmal in their defence of the World Cup two years ago and cannot afford to disappoint again like they did in Brazil.
Group D is a tricky one to get out of though, with the Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia all very much dark horses for this summer’s tournament in France.
