Koeman was confirmed as the new Everton manager last week.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Everton legend Graham Sharp says that the current squad will be excited to play under Ronald Koeman.
Koeman was confirmed as the new Everton manager last week as they completed his move from Southampton.
His appointment has been warmly welcomed by the Blues faithful, who are glad to see a big name manager taking charge at Goodison Park.
They are hoping he can enjoy similar success to what he enjoyed with the Saints, who he turned into European contenders in his two seasons in charge.
Sharp recently met the new Toffees boss and he says that the current squad will be excited to play under him.
“If I’m a player now and Ronald Koeman’s come in, I’m excited for pre-season – and that’s no disrespect to anyone else,” he told evertonfc.com.
“You’ve got somebody that’s played at the highest level and won trophies all over the world. That’s somebody to play for.”

It will certainly be interesting to see the effect that Koeman can have on the current playing squad next season.
One man who must b excited to work under him is defender John Stones, whose career has somewhat stalled in the last two years.
Koeman was a world-class ball playing central defender during his career, and Stones will surely be hoping that he can help develop him into the top player many have predicted he will become.
