Big things are expected from Klopp and Liverpool next season.
Liverpool players during training
Pre-season will be key to Jurgen Klopp’s plans for Liverpool next season, Gary McAllister has told Sky Sports.
Klopp has been a big hit at Liverpool since arriving as Brendan Rodgers replacement back in October.
His first season was a somewhat successful one, as he led them to the Capital One Cup final and the Europa League final.
They lost both of those, but there has been enough on show to suggest that the Reds could be set for a bright future under the German.
Many have said he will need the summer transfer window, and pre-season to fully implement his style at the club, and McAllister says it will be key.

“Jurgen’s first pre-season will be pretty key,” he told Sky Sports.
“You’ve seen already since he arrived that his tactic is about physicality. [But] there’s been no time to emphasise that. That’s where pre-season, with new players coming in [is important].”

This pre-season is certainly gearing up to be a big one for Liverpool, especially in the transfer market.
They have already completed the signings of Marko Grujic, Joel Matip and Loris Karius, and it appears that several more will be arriving at the club also.
If Klopp can get the players in, and implement his style too, there is no denying that they could be set for a strong season next year.
