International Record: 38 Caps, 12 goals

2015/16: After a big money move from Wolfsburg last summer there were huge doubts about Kevin de Bruyne before this past season.
He quickly dispelled those though as he established himself in the Manchester City first-team and continued his development as one of Europe’s hottest properties.
His record of seven goals and nine assists is not to be sniffed at for his first season in England, with many believing he could be the successor to David Silva for City.
Indeed, HITC Sport’s writers were clearly very impressed as we ranked him as the highest Premier League player on our list, ahead of the likes of Mesut Ozil, Harry Kane and Eden Hazard.

What can we expect?
Much is expected of this Belgium side in France given the wealth of talent they currently have at their disposal.
They were somewhat underwhelming at the World Cup in 2014, but have matured since then and could be serious challengers for the tournament.
De Bruyne will be key to their chances, with his side needing him to provide the ammunition for a forward line full of attacking power. If the form he showed for City is anything to go by, he will be doing just that and could take his country far.
