The Crystal Palace defender has been linked with a move to Everton.

Everton could be interested in a move for Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann when Ronald Koeman takes charge according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Southampton boss is expected to take charge at Goodison Park in the coming days after they made big promises to lure him to the club.

The cub have reportedly offered the Dutchman big transfer funds for this summer and beyond, and already a list of players have been linked with moves.
One of those is Scott Dann, who Koeman had allegedly been monitoring with the Saints before his impending exit.
Should he move to Merseyside then one man he could replace in the team is captain Phil Jagielka. But would he represent an upgrade on the former England man? We decided to find out.
| Team | Won Tackle per Game | Interception Won per Game | Duel Won per Game | Aerial Won per Game | Ball Recoveries per Game | Accurate Pass per Game | Passing Accuracy | Clean Sheet | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Phil Jagielka | Everton | 1.33 | 2.38 | 5.29 | 2.76 | 5.48 | 41.57 | 84% | 7 | 21 |
| Scott Dann | C. Palace | 0.69 | 1.77 | 4.86 | 3.29 | 3.94 | 24 | 75% | 8 | 35 |
And despite making 14 fewer appearances, it was a comfortable win for Jagielka as he came out on top in six of the eight areas covered.
On a per game basis he won more tackles, more interceptions, more defensive duels and posted more ball recoveries.

He also managed more accurate passes and enjoyed a better overall passing accuracy than the Eagles star.
It was not all bad news for Dann though as he won more aerial duels per game and managed one more clean sheet across the season.
A comfortable win for Jagielka however, and perhaps on this evidence Everton should consider other options ahead of Dann.
