Liverpool endured an up and down 2015/16 season.

Liverpool’s 2015/16 season proved to be an interesting one to say the least as they swapped managers and reached two cup finals, but lost in both.
After backing Brendan Rodgers in the summer, there was a sense that the Northern Irishman had to do well to keep his job at Anfield.
He would only be given until October though, as a slow start to the season saw the Liverpool board decide to bring his time at the club to an end.
The Reds then made a major signing as they secured former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp as their next boss.
The German proved a huge hit, although the season was an indifferent one as his side were inconsistent to say the least.
Off the field was where they enjoyed their biggest triumph though, as the 96 Hillsborough victims finally got their justice in a landmark day for the football club, the city and English football.
