Tony Gale says Leeds are too easy to play against.
Leeds United celebrate their win after the penalty shootout
Leeds United are through to the next round of the League Cup, but not after a big scare.
The Whites trailed League One side Fleetwood Town until the 89th minute, when substitute Marcus Antonsson equalised.
Both teams scored once each in extra time before Leeds won 5-4 on penalties, with Rob Green saving a decisive spot kick.

SkySports pundit and former footballer Tony Gale had critical words for the team as he covered the game, suggesting head coach Garry Monk is employing a flawed approach.
Speaking to SkySports News HQ’s Soccer Special, he said: “Leeds are pretty to watch good in possession but easy to play against.
“They take so many passes to build up, they only need one to go astray and its 15 up the wall. They have got a big striker to get the ball into. At the moment they look the same (level) as Fleetwood.”
Leeds went onto win the game but will wish they had made easier work of it, although the manner of the fightback will have satisfied Monk and his players.

While Gale raises an interesting point, it is important to note that this is only Leeds’ second competitive game under their new boss, and they are still getting to grips with what he is asking of them.
History has shown they will not get masses of time to adjust, but as the games progress the team should become more effective, and more difficult for sides to play against.
