Former Rangers winger Neil McCann suggested on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Monday morning (broadcast from 10am, October 31, 2016) that Celtic will win the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Celtic are at the top of the league table at the moment with 28 points from 10 matches.
Brendan Rodgers’s side are nine points clear of second-placed and Old Firm rivals Rangers and have a game in hand.
The Bhoys maintained their good run of form in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend, getting the better of Aberdeen 1-0 away from home at the Pittodrie Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Former Rangers and Heart of Midlothian winger McCann believes that no team will be able to catch Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
“I think they will slip up,” said McCann on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Monday morning (broadcast from 10am, October 31, 2016). “I don’t think anyone will catch them to win the championship with a bit to spare.”

Celtic are unlikely to win the rest of their Scottish Premiership matches this season, and the Glasgow will certainly lose a few games.
A nine-point lead at the top of the table with a game in hand, though, does suggest that the title is Celtic’s to lose.
Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen are the challengers, but none of them have been consistent or have the quality of players that the Bhoys do.
