Should Newcastle United or Brighton and Hove Albion make moves for Chelsea’s John Terry in the summer transfer window?

Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion have achieved promoted from the Championship to the Premier League. The Magpies and the Seagulls have already confirmed their positions in the top two of the division.
Brighton and Newcastle have been the two best teams in the Championship this season, and the Magpies probably have the best squad in the division.
However, both the Seagulls and the Magpies will be looking to make important signings in the summer transfer window.

For Newcastle and Brighton to make sure that they do not get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, they have to bring in some very good players.
Could Chelsea star John Terry be one of those players? The former England international defender recently announced that he will leave the London giants at the end of the season, but the centre-back wants to carry on playing.
“If you are Brighton or you are Newcastle or someone like that, why would you not go after a tremendous catch?” said Nicholas about Terry on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News HQ last Saturday afternoon (broadcast from 12pm, April 22, 2017).
Given that Terry is 36 years of and is past his prime, not many top clubs in the Premier League would be willing to sign him in the summer, even on a free transfer.
Should Newcastle and Brighton make a move for Terry? Former Arsenal forward Charlie Nicholas thinks so.
