Vincent Janssen joined Tottenham Hotspur from AZ in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool legend Phil Thompson said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News HQ on Saturday afternoon (broadcast from 12pm, October 1, 2016) that Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen is a good player.
The former Liverpool defender also stated that the 22-year-old striker sets patterns for the team.
Thompson, though, observed that whenever the summer signing from AZ is trying to get a shot away, he seems to fall backwards.

“He is a good player,” said Thompson on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News HQ on Saturday afternoon (broadcast from 12pm, October 1, 2016). “He works for the team, so he sets patterns.”
“I don’t know why but he always seems to be falling backwards when he is trying to get a shot away, so I think he needs to work on it,” added Thompson.

Janssen joined Tottenham from Dutch club AZ in the summer transfer window.
The Dutchman is struggling to score goals at the moment, but his performances have been encouraging.
The young striker has created six chances in six Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.
In two Champions League matches for the North London outfit this campaign, Janssen has created two chances.
Tottenham are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from six matches. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are four points behind leaders Manchester City.
Spurs will take on City at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
