Tottenham Hotspur currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League, four points behind north London rivals Arsenal.
Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Niall Quinn has questioned Spurs’ ability to dig out results when they are not playing at they best, when writing his column for Sky Sports.
Quinn highlighted the Gunners and Man City’s ability to grind out results of late as a key reason why they are both sitting ahead of Tottenham in the table.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men actually performed admirably during the first-half of their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but lost their discipline and composure in the second-half as they left West London empty-handed.
And Quinn highlighted an area where Spurs have been particularly poor this season, comparing their inability to grind out results with other sides around them in the league table, when writing his column for Sky Sports:

“Spurs took the lead against Chelsea, but let it slip away. I have spoken about the strength of Arsenal and Man City digging results out despite not playing particularly well, but Spurs aren’t doing that. They are in the doldrums at the moment.”
Pochettino’s men face a crucial run of fixtures in the Premier League, with three of their next four games coming at White Hart Lane, and they must start to pick up wins with more regularity if they expect to mount a sustained challenge for the title or, at least force their way inside the top four.
