Son Heung-min has been superb for Tottenham Hotspur this season and is an important player in their ongoing quest to win the Premier League title.

The 24-year-old South Korea international, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, has contributed massively with goals.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star has scored 12 goals and created 36 chances in 28 Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.

During the 2015-16 campaign, Son scored four goals and created 18 chances in 28 league matches for the North London outfit.

Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier has been impressed with the performances of the attacker this campaign, and believes that he has been Tottenham’s most improved player.

“I think he has been the most improved player at Tottenham this season by a street,” said Le Tissier about Son on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News HQ last Saturday afternoon (broadcast from 12pm, April 15, 2017).

“I have been really impressed with him whenever I have seen him this season, whether it’s coming on as a sub or whether it’s actually starting.”

With Tottenham only four points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea, Son will be a crucial player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the final weeks of the season.

Harry Kane is back to full fitness and is back to scoring goals, but Son needs to continue his good form and chip in whenever he can.
