Manchester United and Manchester City have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur duo Kyle Walker and Danny Rose.
Liverpool legend Phil Thompson said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News HQ on Saturday afternoon (broadcast from 12pm, January 14, 2017) that he would be amazed if Tottenham Hotspur duo Kyle Walker and Danny Rose left the club.
Walker and Rose are two of the best full-backs in the Premier League and are key figures in the current Tottenham team.
Premier League rivals Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in the two England internationals, according to a recent report in The Sun.

Former Liverpool defender Thompson believes that neither right-back Walker nor left-back Rose would leave Spurs.
“I would be amazed if they did move, I would absolutely be amazed because Spurs are still a big team,” said Thompson on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News HQ on Saturday afternoon (broadcast from 12pm, January 14, 2017).

Tottenham are a massive club and have established themselves as genuine Premier League title contenders under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
One can understand the lure of playing for Manchester United and working with manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, but it is hard to see Spurs letting two of their best players leave to rivals.
Spurs are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 21 matches, seven points behind leaders and London rivals Chelsea.
