Sky Sports pundit Danny Mills was a guest on Sky Sports’ Premier League Daily programme on Wednesday November 15th, and lavished praise upon Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, claiming that he would prefer to play under the Argentine than Gunners manager Arsene Wenger.

Tottenham are three places and four points clear of Arsenal in the Premier League table, and have drawn plaudits for the attractive brand of football being implemented at the club.

Wenger, meanwhile, has received somewhat harsh criticism, having failed to deliver a Premier League title since 2004, and his stubbornness after failing to strengthen areas of his team that are so evidently weak.

And it could be argued that the upcoming North London Derby is the most important clash between the two sides over the past decade.

Danny Mills discussed Saturday’s game, when speaking live on Sky Sports’ Premier League Daily programme, and responded to a question asking him whether he would prefer to play under Pochettino or Wenger:

“It has to be Pochettino. The way he works with young players, its superb. Wenger came into English football and revolutionised the game, but I think maybe he’s just gone a bit stale, and Pochettino is the up and coming.”

Spurs will need all three points to keep pace with Pep Guardiola’s rampant Manchester City side, whilst the Gunners will be desperately in need of a victory to breath fire back into their stuttering campaign.

The game kicks off on Saturday at 12:30 and can be seen exclusively live on Sky Sports.
