Sky Sports pundit David Prutton predicted the outcome of tomorrow’s Championship clash between Wolves and Sunderland at Molineux, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports, suggesting that the visitors could be in line for more misery.

The Black Cats are firmly entrenched in a relegation battle, after a woeful return of just 14 points from their opening 20 Championship outings, and they currently sit precariously in 23rd spot in the table, two points adrift of safety.

Wolves, meanwhile, have been on fire, and sit comfortably at the top of the pile, four points clear of second placed Cardiff City, having taken 47 points from their opening 20 outings in the Championship.

And Prutton predicted a comfortable home win for the Black Country outfit, when writing his regular column for Sky Sports:

“It doesn’t get any easier for Chris Coleman and Sunderland. The home game against Reading was a great opportunity to build some momentum and end their disastrous run at the Stadium of Light, but it all went wrong for them again and now they’ve got their toughest trip of the season. Wolves proved against Birmingham on Monday night that they could win ugly, and that should bode well for them through the cold months of the season. This should be a comfortable home win.”

A win for the Wearside outfit, as unlikely as that may seem, could take them out of the bottom three, whilst all three points for Wolves would cement their position at the Championship summit.

The game kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday, as Coleman look to guide his side to an unexpected win against the league leaders.
