Ipswich Town play host to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship tomorrow.

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton predicted the outcome of tomorrow’s Championship clash between Ipswich Town and Wolves, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports.
The hosts head into the game on the back of a poor run of form that has seen them win just one of their last six Championship games, and they currently sit in 12th position in the table, six points adrift of the play-off spots.

The visitors, meanwhile, sit comfortably at the top of the pile, nine points clear fo second placed Derby County, although they are experiencing the first real blip of their campaign, having taken just one point from their last two league outings.
Tomorrow’s clash is a vitally important one for both side’s for obvious reasons, and Prutton explained why he envisages a tight encounter at Portman Road, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports:

“One point from their last two games actually represents a bit of a slump as far as Wolves are concerned! That defeat at home to Nottingham Forest last week would have been a real wake-up call for Nuno’s side that the job isn’t done yet. Ipswich may smell a bit of blood here and might fancy their chances at Portman Road, and Mick McCarthy’s side can cause anyone problems on their day. I reckon this will be a draw.”
Prediction: Ipswich 1-1 Wolves
Mick McCarthy’s men can climb as high as ninth in the table with a win tomorrow, whilst Nuno’s side will be looking to re-establish their 12 point lead at the Championship summit with all three points at Portman Road.
