“A goalscoring threat from midfield and a player who has the potential to improve enormously this season,” Walker wrote about Windass on Skysports.com.
Windass joined Rangers in the summer transfer window after leaving Accrington Stanley at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been playing well for the Gers and has established himself as an important player in the team. If the youngster starts against County, then he will be threat for Warburton’s team.
