Rangers will head into the match against Kilmarnock on the back of a 1-1 draw with St Johnstone at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
The Glasgow giants are not in great form at the moment, and they will have to win this afternoon in order to enhance their chances of competing with Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title.
The Gers are fifth in the league table at the moment with 16 points from 10 matches.
Warburton’s side are as many as nine points behind Old Firm rivals and currently league leaders Celtic, who have a game in hand.
Rangers won automatic promotion from the Scottish Championship at the end of last season.
A second-placed finish in the Scottish Premiership this season would not be a bad campaign for the Gers.
