Queens Park Rangers and Burton Albion will face each other in the Championship this weekend.

Former Nottingham Forest and Leeds United midfielder David Prutton has predicted on Skysports.com that Queens Park Rangers will win against Burton Albion at home this weekend.

QPR will take on Albion at Loftus Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Prutton has backed the home team to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 2-0 victory.

“We spoke to Ian Holloway after QPR’s 1-1 draw with Fulham and he seemed a little miffed,” Prutton wrote on Skysports.com. “Fulham saw a lot of the ball but QPR have a lot more resilience about them since he’s been in charge. They are unbeaten in four league games now.

“For Burton, after so much good work in the first half of the season, the momentum seems to have ground to a halt. It’s looking ominous at the moment but there’s still a lot to fight for.

“However, I can’t see them going to QPR and getting something, especially with the way Ollie has got them going. QPR are a decent proposition.”

QPR will head into the match against Albion on the back of a 1-1 draw with Fulham at Loftus Road in the Championship.

Ian Holloway’s side are 17th in the league table at the moment with 33 points from 27 matches.

Meanwhile, Albion currently find themselves third from bottom in the standings and are in real danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season.

Nigel Clough’s side have bagged only 25 points from 27 games so far this campaign and are level on points with 21st-placed Wigan Athletic.

The Brewers could nick a point at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon, but it is hard to see them win against Rangers.
