Arsenal will take on Ludogorets Razgrad away from home in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Charlie Nicholas has told Sky Sports that Arsenal will win against Ludogorets Razgrad in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.
The Gunners will take on Ludogorets away from home at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia in Group A.
Former Arsenal and Celtic forward Nicholas has backed Arsene Wenger’s side to pick up all three points from the encounter.
The Sky Sports pundit has also predicted Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is 23 years of age and can play as a winger or as a central midfielder, to score first.
“I think Arsene Wenger will make a few changes, which often unsettles me but seems warranted here with qualification all but assured,” Nicholas told Sky Sports.
“He’ll change the goalkeeper as per usual but I’m not convinced he will start Olivier Giroud as he’ll want to bed him in more gently.
“I can’t see Theo Walcott being risked with a hamstring problem ahead of the north London derby, so Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will get another chance to impress, while it would make sense for Granit Xhaka to come in as he serves his domestic ban.”
A footnote added: “Charlie predicts: 1-3 and Oxlade-Chamberlain to score first.”
Arsenal will head into the match against Ludogorets on the back of a 4-1 victory over Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light in the Premier League.
The Gunners are in great form at the moment and should be considered firm favourites to win on Tuesday evening.
The North London outfit are at the top of Champions League Group A with seven points from three matches, level on points with second-placed Paris Saint-Germain and ahead on goal difference.
Arsenal hammered Ludogorets 6-0 at the Emirates last month.
