Bristol City play host to Queens Park Rangers in the Championship tomorrow.

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton predicted the outcome of tomorrow’s Championship clash between Bristol City and Queens Park Rangers, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports.
The hosts head into the game on the back of a troublesome run of form that has seen them lose three and draw one of their last four league outings, and they currently sit in fifth position in the Championship table, five points adrift of the automatic promotion spots.

The visitors, meanwhile, have won two out of their last three league games, and sit in a lowly 16th position in the table, a distant 13 points adrift of the top six, with promotion to the Premier League now looking like a mere fantasy.
Tomorrow’s game is a vitally important one for both sides, for obvious reasons, and Prutton explained why he envisages a tight encounter at Ashton Gate, when writing his regular prediction column for Sky Sports:

“Bristol City have to concentrate on the league again now their fantastic Carabao Cup run has come to an end. Once again they put in an excellent shift against Manchester City in midweek, but now it’s back to the reality of the Championship. Ian Holloway’s side will have a go as they always do, but I fancy the Robins to get back to winning ways against QPR, although it won’t be easy.”
Prediction: Bristol City 1-0 QPR
Lee Johnson’s men can move level on points with third placed Cardiff City with a win tomorrow, whilst Ian Holloway’s side can jump up to 14th in the table with all three points at Ashton Gate.
